Vesna is the 7th character in Redungeon. Her abilities center around a slower playstyle that removes the threat of the Darkness. Vesna costs 6000 coins to unlock. She is the cheapest character in the game who can only be upgraded twice.
Abilities[]
Vesna begins with Green Path, and gets Light Ritual and then a cooldown for Light Ritual in her next two upgrades.
- Green Path (Passive): Plants and flowers appear under Vesna wherever she goes. Fragile tiles are covered in vines and don't break.
- In-game: "Plants flourish wherever you go. Vines cover fragile platforms and prevent them from crumbling."
- Light Ritual (Active): After a 3 second charge time (during which Vesna can be killed by anything except the Darkness), the Darkness is pushed away. The distance is approximately 15 tiles.
- Light Ritual has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
- In-game: "Push the chasing Darkness far back with pure force of Light."
- In-game upgrade text: "Kick the darkness back when it's closing in!"
- Light Ritual's cooldown is reduced to 15 seconds at Vesna's final level.
Appearance[]
Vesna is a woman in a green robe. She has pale skin and glowing yellow eyes, as well as long curly orange hair. Vesna is surrounded by blue and yellow flowers and grasses in her character selection screen. She has a yellow flower in the front right part of her hair.
Vesna's name and life-centric abilities are likely a reference to the Slavic character of the same name. Vesna is the word for "spring" in Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Belarussian.
